I am unable to get past the ksplash screen while using the supplied startkde
script. Nothing ever appears on the x window.

I have installed:
kde 2.2.1 a2
cygwin 1.3.10-1
qt 2.3.0 b3
etc.

I was able to get kde1 to startup and behave somewhat normally, but kde2 won't
start...

Any suggestions?

Here is the output from the startkde:
bnscott@ELROND ~
$ startx

and there it sits forever with nothing displayed.
