The only reason why KPhotoAlbum links with Nepomuk is because of the rating 
widget ("the five stars in a row") which lives in a Nepomuk-provided 
library. *Nothing* has been stored in a Nepomuk DB form inside KPA, ever.

Perhaps other applications in your list share this property?
