KDE/4.11 branched what to do with kde-workspace?

For those who don't use kdesrc-build, knowing which branch to use does
matter. kdesrc-buildrc and blogging are fine, but there needs to be an
simple way later on to know which branch to use, without having to search
through config files which you don't have a copy of, or past blogs.
