Using userbase for manuals

Sure, everyone should use his favorite tool to do things.

But what I really don't understand, why a devel writing C/C++ code says "xml 
is just a form of binary".

The syntax rules of docbook are some magnitudes simpler than the syntax rules 
of C/C++ code.
