KDE 5, Qt 5 and QML - What is advised for writing new (KDE) applications in the long term?

as QML matures and we gain more sophisticated tools around it, this may (and i
think: will) change. but we shouldn't hold up app devel waiting on that to
happen. we still have some road ahead of us before we can confidently say that
QML is the future for all users of Qt.
in the meantime, QML is already a great choice for many apps. for the rest, we
still have QWidget.
