OK I've had an ack and no negative comments however we are quite a ways past 1 
December 2009 (the documentation/handbook freeze date). This doesn't change 
any of the content of the documentation so it could be argued to be 
permissible under the artwork freeze I guess but I'd like to get a second 
opinion on that. ;)

While I was waiting I made a second revision, which adds a *touch* of text 
shadow to the page title and also forces the page footer to the bottom of the 
page on very short documents.

The aforementioned kdesvn-build docs have been revised to match so you can see 
how it looks in practice, and the patch is attached.
