Welcome, it's always good to have more configuration options, and we really do
need easy touchpad configuration as part of our base install (i.e. I need it
:-).
My one question is how does this compare to kcm_touchpad which the kubuntu
guys use (http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=113335)? Which is
more mature, which has better features, which has a better architecture, which
has better usability, etc? Could the projects be merged?
From a quick look at screenshots, synaptiks does seem to come out ahead on
features, but problems with my MacBook config mean I can't do a compare.
It may seem harsh, but if we include one we should include the best ;-)
Cheers!
John.
