mmh.. it might be useful in principle; however then i'd never touch Reload in the folder where I store my raw photos :)

I see two issues with this:
1) discoverability: users don't necessarily know that the preview is "wrong"... since it has been "right" so far ;) 
2) Reload is not in the default toolbar in dolphin (for instance), hence people could possibly have troubles figuring out what to do
