I'd like an exemption to be able to move the KMail archiving/backup feature from
the kdepim enterprise branches into trunk for the 4.4 release.

This feature has been in development for over a couple months in the enterprise branches
and we just finished testing it for general use yesterday. As the kdepim module coordinator,
and as someone who helped out with this feature, I'm happy to grant an exemption.
But I'm pretty biased.

If there are objections to merging the code from the enterprise branch into trunk
please let me know very soon.

Regards,
Allen

PS. The kdepim feature plan is a disaster. PIMsters, please let's do better for 4.5 :)
