The problem is not the distro packaging of kdelibs. The problem is our
packaging of kdelibs: one tarball.

The problem is the inverse: you remember that you can compile kdefoo 4.3
with kdelibs 4.4. So, how do you do it?

You need to download kdelibs 4.3, build it, install only the libraries
you're interested in. Then you download kdelibs 4.4, build it and install
the full thing.

That's what we're trying to avoid.
