what is "high" resolution? that depends on the card, driver and device. it's 
also something we can detect and determine in code as well as if not better 
than the majority of users.

what's "high cpu"? that's _certainly_ a technical question.

this doesn't take into consideration think client vs local. i'd really like to 
see us go the use case approach as i originally suggested. *no* technical 
details at all in the user interface, just a selection of common use cases.

with that combobox we may as well have that slider from "low" to "high".
