Yes, but the problem is translation. You must have some automatic way
of merging changes into translations. Otherwise you would have to
manually check which parts of original were changed, find the places
in translation which correspond to this place and translate it.

So, basically, you need tools which will fetch wiki contents
automatically, split them into .po files, merge into repository, and
later fetch translated files and merge them back into translated wiki.
And you have to ensure consistency somehow (for example intra-document
links).
