Patch looks fine, but two suggestions:

1) post to kde-buildsystem.

2) for you: build Qt with -debug-and-release on Mac. When debugging, set:
	export DYLD_IMAGE_SUFFIX=_debug
This works for frameworks too (the Qt binary packages for Mac are frameworks 
built in debug-and-release mode and the debug libraries are provided in a 
separate .dmg for convenience)
