Status of konqueror / dolphin as file manager

No. Let's suppose:

A
  B
  C
  D

Let's suppose we visit: A, B, C, B, C, D

A, B <back> A, B, C <back> B, D <back> B

A, B <up> A, B, C <up> A, D <up> A

On dolphin it is quite easy to visit siblings without visiting the parent and 
without manually writing the address (we have the climb address widget in 
where you can click on arrows for a menu to be shown, and therefore visit 
siblings without the need of visiting the parent before).
