Perhaps we don't meet the same categories of people. Last conference I gave (a 
week ago) brought me in front of people very eager that I showcase KDE 4.0 to 
them. They were appologizing that they didn't yet try to install it. I needed 
many words of persuasion to make them understand that it is a good idea to 
_test_ it, but in no case _use it as production environment_. It was an 
academic audience fairly accustomed with what Free Software and its methods 
of work mean, but not necessarily technical heads.
