I fully agree with Cornelius here. We'll never have the perfect API, and right 
now, we've decided to be in Release Mode. The only thing that should happen 
right now is fixing bugs.

Changing the API right now sounds, with all due respect, crazy to me.

We want and we need to get 4.0 out. And we promised to not change the API 
anymore. There are people that actually expect us to not do that then.
