I can't use KMail in kde4

The problem is that the development cycle of KMail is not the same as the release cycle of KDE. For more details, look at the mail from Till in the archives of the release team mailinglist. It's unfair to block the KDE release for half a year because of KMail.

The KDE3 version of KMail is still being worked on (in a separate branch for now) and can be used until there is a 4 version ready.
