Hi,

as kbuildsycoca produced a big output i look and find something that i
don't understand.

In my kbuildsycoca, i have lines like :

kbuildsycoca: WARNING: '/usr/share/applications/calc2.1.desktop'
specifies undefined mimetype/servicetype 'application/msexcel'
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: '/usr/share/applications/calc2.1.desktop'
specifies undefined mimetype/servicetype 'application/excel'
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: '/usr/share/applications/calc2.1.desktop'
specifies undefined mimetype/servicetype 'application/x-excel'
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: '/usr/share/applications/calc2.1.desktop'
specifies undefined mimetype/servicetype 'application/x-ms-excel'
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: '/usr/share/applications/calc2.1.desktop'
specifies undefined mimetype/servicetype 'application/x-msexcel'
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: '/usr/share/applications/kde/kspread.desktop'
specifies undefined mimetype/servicetype 'application/msexcel'
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: 'kspreadpart.desktop' specifies undefined
mimetype/servicetype 'application/msexcel'

But application/msexcel and application/x-msexcel are defined in :

/usr/share/mimelnk/application/msexcel.desktop

If they are defined, why kbuildsycoca doesn't find them ?

Thanks for your answers.

Regards
Nicolas
