It is far worse: The "job" obviously consists of money laundering, which might 
lead you into prison.

There are three main methods how money laundering is done by the 
spam "business":

a) use stolen credit card numbers to transfer money to the "financial 
managers", who then forward transfer the money to you
b) book a hotel for a non-existent conference, then cancel the booking and ask 
the money to be returned to a different account
c) invest in worthless stock and drive up the stock price via spam.
