I'm the author of KWelcomeScreen, and it will move to libkdegames soon (as 
soon as it becomes mature enough), so any game will be able to make use of 
it. Actually it's located in the KBattleship dir just to make it able to 
mature (I'm also the KBattleship co-maintainer, and this widget has initially 
been designed for it).
