When I discussed this with Daniel, we had come to the conclusion that the
basic functionality about identifying Unicode characters should be in
kdelibs (whether kdecore or kdeui doesn't matter).
Right now, we have a KCharSelect class in kdeui that is a very basic
interface. And Daniel's patch still keeps that alive.
