(and close it when you are done  :-)  ).

You may also want to coordinate with Craig Drummond (if you don't do 
so yet), to avoid duplicate work. Craig is the kcmfontinst 
maintainer.

Also, it would be nice to have a hook from kfontinst to your app 
(i.e. if I as a user are looking for a certain font, I may want to 
know if that font includes a certain glyph/character).
