Absolute numbers don't count, as it scales with the number of relocated 
symbols. if it causes a slowdown of 5% on kde4-config, like your measurement 
indicates, it will cause  a slowdown of 5% for a really really big 
application as well, and for a really really big application those 5% might 
be 100ms.
