It would provide a way to solve the problem for example I often have with 
KWord, KMail and other office programs, namely the need to write a document 
in another language.

Of course it would be much nicer if those apps would provide a way to set the 
language pr document ;)

More seriously, I also mostly run with a us_en desktop, but sometimes I would 
like to run an app in danish.
