The "canonical" proposal out of the usability group (the PDF covers
quite a few other things, as does the thread, but we did talk about the
focus highlighting in here).

svn "demo" of a 'partially fixed' Plastik (KDE3). I had posted
screenshots from here at one point, but unfortunately I am not able to
find them again. Note that this is what I intend to port to KDE4 if
