Hi,

Well, I don't know what you mean here with "inheritable" (probably is my
understanding, not far enough) :(.

Ratings are set by user, I think they shouldn't be set automatically (for
example, when downloaded from KNS). The thing is: imagine I am doing a work
for uni about "transistors", OK, I have a huge documentation downloaded from
the internet on several files that came from different websites, so I rate
them depending on how cool the information they contain is. So when we sort
by rating, we see first the most important ones from my point of view
(because I said so before), or inverted (if the descending option is
enabled).

What I find hell cool about nepomuk is that when a file is downloaded,
received from Kopete, copied from a pendrive, we have the ability to write
the metadata to nepomuk. So for example, on the future, we will be able to
"Sort by origin" for example, so categories would be "Received from Kopete",
"Downloaded from Internet"... and so on.

Incredible times are coming.... :)

Bye,
Rafael Fernández López.
