KHelpMenu::menu() not called

I am trying to port my "switch application language" patch
(http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=647712) to current SVN and I
have run into problems. The patch applies fine, but the option does not
appear in Help menu.

I have run Konqueror in the debugger and it seems that KHelpMenu::menu()
function is not called at all. But the help menu appears, with common
options.

Anyone knows what is going on? It used to work in KDE <3.5.7 when I
tested it previously.
