changing KGraphicsUtils? (update/current state of the discussion)

because it would be a waste of resources otherwise.
we know that matthew will use some of this stuff himself, so it isn't
too absurd to assume he has a remote idea of what is to be expected.
so can we please get back to the basic principle of "those who do the
work decide [and we fix it afterwards if they screw up]"? it's not
like matthew ignored everybody, he just has a different opinion on
some/most aspects. compromising just because he *might* be wrong is sort
of silly, wouldn't you think?

ps: KColorUtils sounds more useful. new namespaces are cheap. :)
