I also suggested having more general purpose graphing/plotting/charting API
available in kdelibs. My personal to-do list has this entry:
+ Move KPlotWidget from kdeedu/libkdeedu/kdeeduplot to kdelibs.

How about creating a new kdegraphicslibs module?
