clarification on git, central repositories and commit access lists

moderating a list is a concept that in practice doesn't work.
I tried that in KDE and it just creates people complaining in all places 
they can that they are being censored. (yes, I had that)

So, if the one that requests the ML thinks it should not be displayed to 
the world that there is something (which is temporary anyway) because its 
easy to get the wrong idea, then its his call.  Please give him the 
freedom to make that call.
