If KProcess inherits from QProcess, it inherits the Qt-style of doing I/O: 
everything is asynchronous and that's the only mode (sockets and QProcess 
work like that).

You have some waitFor*() functions that you can use to re-synchronise. But 
blocking mode is not possible.
