deprecation

I'm compiling a file and I get warnings about how a KDE4 or QT4
function is deprecated.

Is there a standard way for me to look up how I should fix this
problem, whether it is simply using an equivalent function or a
complete design change?

If there is, then I easily update the code without knowing much at all
about what I am fixing.
