[patch] Bugfix for Bug 123587: Master Mixer is not properly restored

Hi,

today a new bug report rushed in for KMix. I made a patch, which I believe it is very safe to commit. It basically moves code down a few lines and adds the neccesary sanity check.
Shall I commit? As we are close to tagging 3.5.2, I cross-posted to kde-multimedia.
