And as the akademy-participant list ist closed, please forgive me that I 
misuse k-c-d for a question that bothers me (and hopefully a few other 
people, so that this mail wouldn't be too useless):

How can I check if my bank transfer for the hostel has arrived? This is 
especially important because of the short timeframe for payment receipts, 
which makes the monetary issues just a bit more uncomfortable than they 
already are.
(Even if the aKademy team is innocent and the hostel is to blame.)
