Eclipse does it this way: automatically inserted quotes (or brackets) are
overwritten (like in overwrite mode instead of insert mode) if you type it
manually. That way, you never end up with duplicated quotes.
Additionally, by pressing return, you "accept" all automatically inserted
characters and the cursor will be placed behind them.
