Running KDE4 apps from KDE3

Bingo, you're my hero. :-) It seems I run the first KDE4 application 
without setting $KDETMP and $KDEVARTMP (only $KDEHOME was set to a new 
dir) and it linked to my KDE3 temporary folders. So the links have 
precedence over the environment variables....
