What happens with 3.5 code that's not in 4.0?

 Hello,

 %subj% ? While working on kdebase/kcontrol/background I noticed that r451134 
is not in trunk. And I'd expect there to be many more such changes. Is there 
any svn merge (with awfully many conflicts I guess) planned ?
