JPEG detection problem

I seem to have a problem with the JPEG detection in the KDE 3.5 branch.

Before I waste hours to find the problem, was anything changed recently?

At first glance, gcc seems to dislike the mix of definition of size_t :

conftest.cpp:50 error: conflicting types for 'typedef int size_t'

(signed int in test, unsigned int on my system. gcc 3.3.1; SuSE 9.0; the JPEG 
lib is on /usr/lib/libjpeg.so)

(Updating unsermake did not change the problem.)
