Why do you assume that this is the only way people work or should work, and you
even want to force it down their throat?
Even if users store documents nicely in their Documents folder, there is always
a need for non-document non-long-term stuff. Whether that's mp3s for them, or 
temporary files that don't need a proper place inside Documents, or config files 
or anything else. And KDE isn't only for new users; current users most probably
have their stuff in Home. And KDE isn't only for users coming from Windows.
And not every KDE user has to use it the way you do.

Give others time to speak. If nobody else is in favour of hiding HOME, let's let
it at that. (As I said I wouldn't object to a link to the Document folder in *addition*).
