How about using the "alternative list background" colour from the colour 
scheme? This is guaranteed to always have enough contrast with the text 
colour.

Of course, using yellow or green would be more obvious, but it is simply 
not possible to hardcode any background colours without making the URL 
bar unreadable for users who have, for example, a light allergy.
