Kicker crashing on exit when KMix Panelapplet is running

this particular crash should be fixed in the 3.4 branch and has nothing to do 
with kmix or any other applet ...

there's still a crash related to KDirLister::stop() getting called when it is 
deleted after the application is done (KStaticDeleter cleaning up after 
itself) which i'll finish investigating and hopefully fixing in the next day 
or two here ...
