Hello all,

As some of you know already, there is a working
replacement for the admin scripts for building kde
apps. Given its small size, it is especially well
suited for small projects. It is being used in
projects like kdissert, rosegarden, kio_locate, etc.

One of the strong points is that the detection of the
configuration is done throughout modules that cache
the variables automatically (autoconf on steroids).
The use of scons also brings some new features like
automatic rebuilding when rules changes (flags, ..),
object caching (much more powerful than ccache), and
easy-to-understand scripts. The only drawback is that
makefile.am-based projects cannot be converted that
easily to this system :)

Two application templates have also been added to
kdevelop (kconfigxt, kmdi).
