Been in KDE for a while. 

  In KControl goto Appearance & Themes / Style / Miscellaneous* / Then change 
the Text Position to text under icons

Then in Appearance & Themes / Icons/ Advanced  Click on the Toolbar and change 
to 32x32

As you use apps you might need to clean them up a little.  For example I 
remove all the items that everyone knows the shortcuts to, open,save,quit, 
print, cut,copy,paste leaving five or six key actions for that applications 
window.

* Why is this called Misc when it only contains toolbar settings?  Shouldn't 
it be called toolbar settings?  And why are they grouped in a box when there 
is only 1 box.  Having only 1 groupbox in a widget is a hint that something 
is wrong.
