Ok, I double checked in a clean environment and I still get the spellchecking 
dialog with my patch. Either I'm missing something here (if I'm really 
disabling the ui, what _am_ I disabling exactly?) or the patch works after 
all. Can somebody please actually give this a try and tell me what stops 
working so I have something to work towards?
