On the existence of -devel

That's the second time I've seen that meme in as many days. What gives? Is 
there some kind of "If you have a CVS account, you're too 666 + 671 to read 
- -devel" bug going around? The charters of the two lists are (from 
w.k.o/mailinglists):


kde-devel - for application developers (both applications in central KDE 
packages and contributed applications 

kde-core-devel - for developers. The discussions on this list are limited at 
KDE libraries development, CVS and other central development issues.


I don't see a "-devel is ignored by most people" in there. Personally, I'd 
_like_ more enforcement of the charter, moving compile problems to -devel, 
for one thing, and reports with patches for a specific application to -devel 
as well. Forwarding messages from one list to another when the best course of 
action is to forward to the relevant maintainer just increases the noise 
level. As do this kind of meta-messages, so I'll just STFU now.
