I think you've misunderstood me. All my point was that none of the
application is more special than the other, and if we have chosen to be
part of KDE, let's be part of it. And I explained that we keep backward
compatibility and it's good for many users (but pain for us), and still
I like to use the latest from the libaries as makes things much better
and simple. My opinion was at the end of the other mail (and this is
what we do with Quanta):
"release together with KDE 3.3 and keep the KDE 3.3 release schedule,
but keep the compatibility with KDE 3.2"
Try to avoid confusion. I know that even this Quanta BE thing is
confusing for lots. :-( Don't make such a mistake with kdepim that the
user will not know which is the latest version that he can use..
