Maintainer's status of kxconfig in kdenonbeta....

I've been informed by Cornelius Schumacher on kde-devel that this software is 
currently unmaintained. I am considering taking on the role of its 
maintainer, since I do the packaging for it under Ark Linux. What would be 
the best way to become maintainer? Thanks in advance.
