I agree with you here. 

Still, it's only talks. I want some work done! ;-) I can prepare the final set 
of the samples this week, including all jingles and sound effects and even 
special effects, convert them to 128 kbps oggs. And then I'll have a plan of 
what sounds to assign to which actions. The only three things *someone* would 
need to do are [1] remove the old sounds [2] place the new ones [3] adjust 
the knotify kcontrol module to have some default configuration according to 
my plan.


Any volunteers for [1], [2] and [3]? ;-)
