encoding problem

hi,
could somebody with qt 3.2 installed look at this bug:

user complains that katepart doesn't save files containing pl chars, we use 
canEncode() to check that and ask user to choose right encoding if that 
fails, could that be borked in qt 3.2 ? (have atm only qt-copy around to 
check with)
