Two things I should mention:
a) There's now a platform list at platform at pdx.freedesktop.org; go to
   http://freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/platform to subscribe/etc.
b) We're a very inclusive community. Please don't feel afraid to voice
   your opinion/whatever, no matter how stupid you might think it is.
   Perspectives from desktop developers are especially useful and
   relevant.
